John Deere "AR"

The John Deere "AR" was the standard version of the "A".The styled "AR" was not streamlined till 1949, when it was fashioned after the newly released "R".The low seat 60 followed the AR in 1953. The selling price in 1951 was $2300. The "AR" produced 35 hp with a 321  cubic inch engine. The tractor was also available to run on kerosene..The serial number on our "AR" is  280926 making it a 1952 model. We obtained it east of Winnipeg.
