Farmall MD

The Farmall MD was built from 1941 till 1952. The 4 cylinder engine had 248 cubic inches and produced 35 hp. The Farmall MD was the first diesel powered row-crop  farm tractor produced. The diesel engine started on gasoline and then was switched to run on diesel. In 1952 IHC came out with the Super MD and Super MD TA. We have more than one MD. This one pictured has a factory wide front and factory hydraulics. We purchased it at Oakville. The serial number is 283210, meaning it was built in 1951.
