Farmall "A"






The Farmall "A" was built from 1939 till 1947 when the Super Farmall A was introduced. When it was introduced the selling price was $575. There were more than 117,000 units built. The 4 cylinder gasoline engine had 113 cubic inches and produced 13 hp. The "A" and "B" were identical . The "A" featured the offset engine  and wide front end. The "B" had the centered engine , offset seat and narrow front axle. This gave the operator full vision of the ground beneath him. This feature was known as "Culti-vision " Our "A" came from western  Manitoba. It is serial number #104966 and was built in 1944.
