Farmall Super MD
There were 5199 Super MD tractors built. The 4 cylinder diesel engine had 264 cubic inches and produced 39 hp. The Super MD followed the Farmall M, and was replaced by the 400. The SMD was built in 1952, 1953 and 1954. These Super tractors were also built in Louisville to keep up with demand. There were 4 stages of progress in the SMD production. The T/A was the final refinement. The price tag on the SMD was $3550. It was also assembled in Great Britain where it was marketed as "Super BMD ". Our Super MD is serial # 1783, built in 1952. Our tractor came from Glenora.
