John Deere styled "D"

The "   D "  was the longest run of any John Deere tractor. About 160,000 "  D "  tractors were built . The styled "  D "  had 501 cubic inches and produced 38 hp. The "  D "  was styled in 1939 and ran till 1953. The serial number on our "  D "  is # 165673 making it a 1947 model. It came from Calvin, North Dakota.
