The ""   G  "  was built from 1938 till 1953. It was the last row crop tractor to get restyled. From 1938 onward it was called the "   G ".  In 1942 it was restyled and called the  "   GM ''. After the war in 1947 it was again called the  "   G "   till production quit in 1953 and the 70 replaced it. The later tractors had electric start, lights and choice of front axles, narrow , wide or tricycle. There were 64000 "   G " tractors built. In 1953 it sold for $2600. The 2 cylinder engine had a displacement of 412 cubic inches and produced 34 hp. This is our "  GW " as it has a factory wide front axle. It came from Webster, N.D.  The serial # is 58481 making it a 1952 model.
