John Deere 2010

The 2010 was the second smallest tractor of John Deere's New Generation tractors. It was released in 1960 and built for 6 years. The 4 cylinder engine measured  144 cubic inches and produced 39 hp. The tractor was available with diesel, gasoline and lp gas engines. They had a syncro-range transmission with 8 forward and 3  reverse gears. In 1966  it was replaced with the 2020. In 1965 the 2010 sold for $4600. The serial number on our 2010 is #23766  making it a 1962  model. We bought it at Lockport, Manitoba.
