Cockshutt 550

The Cockshutt 550 replaced the Cockshutt 35 deluxe. It was built in 1958,1959,1960 and 1961. Gas and diesel engines were available. The 4 cylinder Hercules gas engine had a displacement of 198 cubic inches and produced 35 hp. There were 2930 of these tractors built. In 1960 a 550 sold for $4000. The serial number on our tractor is # LM 1470 making it a 1958 model. Our tractor came from Brandon.
