John Deere 50

The 50 was introduced to replace the "B". It featured power-trol hydraulics, power steering and lpto. There were 32574 model 50 tractors built. In 1954 it sold for $2011. It was built from 1952 till 1956. In 1957 the 520 replaced it. The 2 cylinder engine measured 190 cubic inches and produced 20 hp. The serial number on our tractor is # 5001079 making it a 1952 model. Our tractor came from Portage la Prairie. It was ugly when we bought it as the previous owner brush painted the tractor with Army green paint.
